Peruvian passport holders can visit Europe without a visa for up to 90 days in a 180-day period. Peruvian visitors may enter the Schengen Area many times as long as they do not exceed the 90-day limit.

Peruvian nationals will need an authorised ETIAS travel authorization to visit the Schengen Area for tourist, leisure, business, or transit purposes beginning in late 2023.

It all depends. A Peruvian national travelling to the Schengen Area with an ETIAS may participate in a leisure course lasting no more than 90 days.

To participate in formal education, such as acquiring a university degree, Peruvian citizens must apply for a European visa. Peruvian students who desire to study in the European Union should contact an embassy or consulate to obtain particular visa information and criteria.

Peruvian travellers may stay in the Schengen Area for 90 days within any 180-day period without a visa. When ETIAS is fully implemented, Peruvians tourists will still be able to visit for up to 3 months visa-free.

Visitors from Peru who want to stay longer than 90 days must request a visa. This can be done by visiting the embassy or consulate of the country they wish to stay in.
