ETIAS FOR SAINT LUCIAN CITIZENS
EUROPE’S TRAVEL AUTHORISATION FOR SAINT LUCIANS
This website is not associated with or owned by the EU. The European Union’s official website is europa.eu.
Saint Lucians do not need a visa to visit nations in Europe’s Schengen Zone. The Caribbean island country is included in the visa-free programme.
Caribbean travellers will be able to register with ETIAS beginning in November 2023. The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is an online authorization system comparable to the ESTA or eTA in the United States. It will increase security and enhance border administration at the Schengen area.
For Saint Lucians travelling to Schengen nations for up to 90 days, the ETIAS visa waiver will be required.
WHAT MUST SAINT LUCIAN NATIONALS DO BEFORE GOING TO EUROPE?
Saint Lucians must have a valid passport to enter Europe’s Schengen Zone. This passport must be valid for at least three months after they leave the Schengen Zone.
Visitors from the island state are welcome to visit any of the Schengen member nations, which comprise 22 European Union (EU) countries as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.
ETIAS authorizes Saint Lucian nationals to travel to all Schengen member states from November 2023:
- EU Schengen
- Non-EU Schengen States
- Non-Schengen EU States
Non-EU Member States:
Micro-States de facto part of Schengen Area:
Non-Schengen EU States
When the traveller enters the Schengen Area, they will be allowed to travel freely between all of the nations in the zone. The only paperwork they require is a valid passport.
Saint Lucians will be able to board an ETIAS-operated aircraft or ship heading for the Schengen Area beginning in November 2023. By completing the ETIAS application form online, you can get the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS).
Saint Lucian nationals are permitted to visit without a visa for a maximum of 90 days in any 180-day period. The same is true for nationals of other visa-free nations. Travelers who want to remain for more than 90 days must apply for a visa.
This will not change after ETIAS is adopted. ETIAS is not a visa, but rather a visa waiver. Visitors who intend to remain for an extended period of time will need to get a visa.
TRAVELLING TO EUROPE FROM SAINT LUCIA WITH AN ETIAS VISA WAIVER

This covers both youngsters and adults. Minors can have their parents or legal guardians fill out the ETIAS form on their behalf.

The visa and admission criteria for the United Kingdom and Ireland are distinct.
There are also other nations that are entirely or partially located on the European continent but are not members of the EU or the Schengen Area and will not recognise ETIAS.
All Saint Lucian visitors must verify that they have the proper papers to enter the countries they are going legally. A valid ETIAS visa waiver is valid for three years from the date of issuance.
